For over seventy years, the Pavan family has been a symbol of passion, tradition, and commitment in the world of winemaking, with deep roots in the town of Breda di Piave, in the province of Treviso.
It all began in the post-war period with Gino Pavan, a determined and visionary man who turned his love for the land into a solid and promising agricultural venture.
Over time, the winery grew thanks to the contribution of his son Luciano, a winemaker and wine enthusiast who succeeded in blending respect for family tradition with innovation, elevating the winery for its quality and environmental awareness.
Today, the third generation continues the work with the same spirit, preserving a strong bond with the land and the values of rural heritage.
Every bottle produced by Ca’ Barberina is the result of sustainable farming practices and meticulous attention to quality—an expression of a family story built on dedication, love for the land, and the promotion of local culture.

The Winemaker – Luciano Pavan
Born in Breda di Piave into a family rooted in rural tradition, Luciano has dedicated his life to viticulture.
Raised in a farming environment, he developed a deep passion for the land and grapevine cultivation from a young age.
After completing his studies in viticulture and oenology in Conegliano, he earned his qualification as a winemaker, specializing in the wine sector.
Throughout his career, he has completed over 60 harvests, working both in Italy and in prestigious wineries throughout the region.
His experience and expertise, along with his dedication and love for the territory, are the foundation of his long and accomplished professional journey.
