Cà Barberina
A deep connection with the land and tradition
The Winery
The Pavan family winery is located in the heart of the province of Treviso, one of Italy’s most renowned wine-growing regions, known for its unique landscape and ideal climate for grape cultivation. The vineyards stretch across the municipalities of Breda di Piave, Spresiano, and Roncade—lands rich in history and winemaking tradition, deeply rooted in the centuries-old agricultural culture of Veneto.
The winery is based in Lovadina di Spresiano, just a few steps from the Piave River. This area benefits from the river’s cool breezes and from fertile, well-drained soils that are ideal for growing high-quality grapes. The geographical position, with its favorable microclimate, plays a key role in the production of fresh, elegant wines with great personality.
The winery cultivates several grape varieties, including indigenous ones that reflect the winemaking tradition of the region, with particular attention to typical local cultivars. Among these, the grapes used to produce Prosecco DOC and Venezia DOC stand out—two designations that express the richness and diversity of the Treviso terroir. Prosecco, in particular, is a symbol of elegance and freshness—a wine that perfectly embodies the spirit of this land.
